Rolling course Idre
If you happen to end up upside down in a kayak, one option is to make a so-called “wet-exit”. That is, you pull off your spray deck and get out of the kayak. This may mean going for a swim, having to look for equipment that has ended up in the water, getting ashore and draining water from the kayak before you can continue. It is both energy and time consuming. By rolling your kayak you can get the kayak back on the right keel and continue paddling like nothing has happened! Some get it on the first try, while others get to spend many hours before succeeding. Either way, we'll teach you how!

About Forsverket
Forsverket offers courses and guiding in whitewater kayaking. We train according to the Swedish Canoe Association's Paddelpasset training system. We also have permission from the Swedish Transport Agency to train rafting guides.
During the summer holidays we are on rivers in Idre and the surrounding area. Norra Dalarna invites you to whitewater kayaking in fantastic mountain environments! There are several rivers here for whitewater paddlers regardless of skill. The rest of the year we are at Säveån in Floda just outside Gothenburg. Säveån flows through a nature reserve but is an incredibly accessible river. It's a perfect place to practice paddling technique and an oasis with a wilderness feel - just a stone's throw away from Gothenburg!
Paddling in moving water is special. You are in a dynamic environment where one day is not the same as the next. Everything is in constant motion. Regardless of how many times you have paddled a river, each time feels like a new adventure! Our goal is for as many people as possible to experience this highly addictive activity. We adapt to the individual so that all participants have the opportunity to develop at their own pace according to their own conditions. We want to create a safe environment where you feel comfortable taking the step into the world of whitewater.
